DID YOU KNOW...?
The City of Norcross is updating its Buford Highway Master Plan, which was originally adopted in 2021. Since then, the area has continued to change and grow. New housing, the Norcross Library, and the future Public Safety Building are now influencing the area. The update will focus on the two-mile stretch from Jimmy Carter Boulevard to Langford Road. It will help guide future decisions around land use, mobility, economic development, and public investment. A Community Open House will be held Tuesday, June 16 from 5:30-7:30pm at the Norcross Library. Residents, business owners, employees, visitors, and anyone interested in Buford Highway are invited to stop by and share input!

Job Opening with Gwinnett County
Gwinnett County is looking to grow its economic development team with a new Economic Development Manager role! This position will support redevelopment initiatives, help administer tax allocation district funding, and engage developers to help bring high-quality, mixed-use development to key areas of the County. Redevelopment or real estate development experience is preferred, though not a deal breaker. View details here!
Father’s Day Pop-Up
Celebrate Father’s Day weekend in Downtown Norcross with a family-friendly Father’s Day Pop-Up on Saturday, June 20 from 12-5pm. Bring Dad, Grandpa, and loved ones of all kinds for an afternoon of games, photos, and downtown fun. The Betty Mauldin Parking Lot will have inflatable t-ball, basketball, and foam axe throwing, plus a special appearance from Chopper, the Gwinnett Stripers mascot, from 1-2pm. Father’s Day photo spots will also be set up at 9 S. Peachtree and Betty Mauldin Park, so bring your own camera or phone.
FIFA World Cup Watch Parties
Explore Gwinnett is bringing the excitement of the FIFA World Cup to you with a series of free community watch parties! These family-friendly events will feature live match broadcasts, food and beverage options, entertainment, and a fun community atmosphere. Free and open to the public! The Norcross watch party will take place on Wednesday, July 15 at Lillian Webb Park from 2-7pm!
