DID YOU KNOW...?
You can earn rewards when you eat at The Crossing and Mojitos through an app called InKind! It lets you link a card, pay your restaurant bill through the app, and earn rewards toward future meals. It’s available for iOS and Android, and there a lot of other restaurants on the app, too. Bob Grossman shared it with me, so Jonathan and I tried it this week, and it works! It was really easy, too. We set it up while we were sitting in the restaurant. No strings attached and no hidden fees!
We asked our server at The Crossing about it to make sure it’s good for everyone involved. They said the restaurant likes when customers use it because it gives people an extra reason to keep coming back. If you sign up through my link, I receive a small referral reward and you immediately receive $25 to use at the restaurant! I’m sharing because we tried it ourselves, it worked, and it’s a nice perk for anyone already eating at places like The Crossing or Mojitos. Bon appétit!

Spanish & Wine Tasting Tour
La Fontaine Language Center is hosting a Spanish & Wine Tasting Tour tomorrow, Saturday, May 16, with visits to 3 vineyards in Elijay, 12 wine tastings, mountain views, snacks and drinks included, and Spanish language fun on the bus! Arrival is 8:45am at 32 Jones St, Norcross, with departure at 9:15am sharp and return around 4pm. Tickets are $245 per person, limited, and can be booked securely on Eventbrite. Kids in the Wild at Pinnacle Park
Youth in Nature Network is hosting Kids in the Wild this Sunday, May 17, from 1-4:30pm at Pinnacle Park for ages 6-10! This free, hands-on day camp invites kids to explore local soil, learn how Georgia’s red clay can become art, and spend the afternoon outside as both artists and scientists! Register here!
The Brunswick Launch & Signing
Come celebrate the launch of Norcross-local debut author Callie Murray and her new historical fiction novel, The Brunswick! It’s taking place at Freckles & Co, 19 Jones St NW, on Tuesday May 19 from 1-3pm. Pick up your pre-order copies (or snag one then!) and have a chance to get them signed by Callie! All pre-order copies will include a limited edition 4x6 art print based on the novel.
FCA Gwinnett County “Run for EVERY” 5k/10k
FCA Gwinnett County is hosting its first “Run for EVERY” 5k/10k on Saturday, May 30 at Peachtree Corners Baptist Church! Check-in begins at 8am, with a welcome at 8:45am and race start at 9am. Funds raised will support FCA programs at Norcross, Duluth, Meadowcreek and Berkmar high schools. Registration and more information!
