Norcross is currently accepting applications for several city boards! Seats are open on Architectural Review, Planning & Zoning, Tree Preservation, Discovery Garden, and Zoning Board of Appeals. It’s a chance to have a hand in how Norcross grows, from development to preservation. Applications are open through May 8 at 5pm!

UPDATE: Farmhouse Table for Sale
I am horrified that I included the wrong link for Brent Comstock’s custom table last week! Let’s try this again (with my apologies): Brent is selling a farmhouse table made from 100% reclaimed oak with mortise and tenon construction! Norcross Garden Sale
The Norcross Garden Club’s Spring Plant Sale is back! Shop passalong plants, perennials, natives, veggie starts, trees, shrubs, ferns, ground covers and houseplants, plus a few extra garden finds, all at great prices! It takes place at 33 College Street and next door at Heritage Park. The sale began yesterday and continues today, Friday, April 24 from 10am-7pm, and Saturday, April 25 from 10am-2pm. Proceeds support horticulture scholarships through the Garden Club of Georgia, along with local youth gardening efforts! Rain or shine, with cash, check, card and PayPal accepted.

Norcross Cluster Innovation Showcase
The Norcross Cluster Innovation Showcase is tomorrow, Saturday, April 25 from 9am-1pm! It takes place at Lillian Webb Park, the Cultural Arts & Community Center, and the Norcross Public Library. Expect student showcases, performances, and community partners, highlighting everything from STEM and computer science to music, art, and more. Heads up: College St. at Jones St. toward Britt Ave., plus Britt Ave., will be closed 8am-2pm for the event, so plan alternate routes!
Kodomo No Hi (Japan’s Children’s Day) Festival
ICAGeorgia Parent-Teacher Organization is holding the 2026 Kodomo No Hi (Japan’s Children’s Day) Festival on Sunday, May 3, from 11am-4pm at Thrasher Park! Join us for crafts like making kabuto (origami samurai hats) and koinobori, cultural performances, bounce houses and sports activities, a variety of vendors, your favorite Norcross restaurants, and face painting with some of your favorite characters!
