Norcross Email Extravaganza Vol. 395
A weekly email for the young & forever young in Historic Norcross
DID YOU KNOW...?
Norcross Porchfest is just over two weeks away, and we still have a few open spots on the volunteer task sign-up sheet! If you signed up to volunteer over the past few months, you should have received an email with a link to select a specific role for the day. (Feel free to sign up even if you didn’t express interest previously!) If there’s something you’d like to help with but it’s already taken or not listed, reach out and we’ll see what we can do to accommodate. We’re especially looking for a few neighbors with golf carts and an eye for photography/videography! Oh, and here’s a merch preview!
The Front Porch Decorating Contest, hosted in partnership with BIA Charter School, is also coming up! Participating homes should be decorated, photographed, and submitted by April 30 at 5pm, and remain decorated through the end of the festival. Voting will take place online, with the winner announced Saturday after Porchfest. If you’re feeling creative, sidewalk and driveway chalk art is also encouraged. Keep it simple or go all in, whatever works for you. For inspiration, you can check out this board!
PHOTO OF THE WEEK
Bandit, a blue-eyed mixed Siamese with white fur and brown markings, belongs to the Flynn family and was last seen April 7 near Park Drive in Norcross. He is an indoor cat who got out by mistake and is deeply missed by his family. Please reach out with any information!
Submit a photo to be featured! This can be you/your family, cool critters around town, cozy corners you like to rest in, events, the train, sunsets, etc! It’s up to you - just send your photo and a brief description to youngnorcross@gmail.com!
