The Mayor’s Angel Giving Tree is now up in the City Hall lobby, offering an easy way to support local children who could use a little extra care this season! This year, Sheltering Arms Norcross Center benefits from community generosity.
Each tag on the tree lists a child’s wish, from simple essentials to small gifts that help make the holidays feel special. Just stop by City Hall, choose a tag, and pick out a new, unwrapped gift that matches the request. Then return the gift with the tag attached to the City Hall lobby by Monday, December 8. It is a small, local gesture that can make the season brighter for a Norcross family!

Heart of Norcross Holiday Open House
Spend tomorrow, Saturday, November 15 exploring Historic Norcross for a full day of Holiday Open House shopping from 11am-7pm! Local shops will be decked out with seasonal decor and stocked with gifts for everyone on your list. Look for exclusive deals and special discounts at participating businesses as you wander through downtown!
Language Cafe at 45 South
La Fontaine Language Center invites you to the ‘Language Cafe’ tomorrow, Saturday, November 15, from 2-3:30pm at 45 South Cafe. This event offers a fun and interactive way to practice French, Spanish, and English (for those learning English) through engaging games and discussions. All language levels are welcome! (By the way, La Fontaine is a hidden gem in historic Norcross. If you want to learn a new language, I recommend checking it out!)
Wine Tasting & Charcuterie Building Class
Freckles & Co, 19 Jones St, Norcross, is hosting a Wine Tasting and Charcuterie Board Building Class on Thursday, November 20 at 6:30pm! Enjoy an evening of wine tasting led by a sommelier, holiday meal pairing suggestions, hosting gift ideas, and a demo on building the perfect charcuterie board. Participants will also create their own mini charcuterie board to take home. The class is $40 per person, and spots are limited.
Volunteers Needed for Lauren Summers Real Estate Friendsgiving
Lauren Summers is gathering volunteers to support her 2025 Friendsgiving event for neighbors in need! Requests are for food donations and helping hands to serve. Friendsgiving will take place Saturday, November 22, from 3-5pm at 145 Britt Ave, Norcross. If you can contribute food or volunteer your time, please sign up!
Spirited Quilters Guild Holiday Quilt Exhibition
Enjoy a free holiday quilt exhibition at the Norcross Welcome Center & Museum, 17 College Street, from November 24 to December 30! See more than 15 festive quilts created by members of the Spirited Quilters Guild. Open Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, except holidays. After-hours and weekend visits available by appointment.
