If you’re wondering what to do with your live Christmas tree now that the holidays are over, Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful has you covered with their annual "Bring One for the Chipper" program. You can drop off your tree now through January 22, 2025, at Fire Station 1 (165 Lawrenceville St.), Fire Station 11 (5885 Live Oak Pkwy.), or Fire Station 23 (4355 Steve Reynolds Blvd.). Just make sure your *real* tree is free of lights, tinsel, decorations, and stands. Your tree will be turned into mulch to help beautify our parks and public spaces. Help Jonas Travel to Cooperstown
Jonas Paukste, a 12-year-old baseball player who lives on Cochran Drive, has the opportunity to compete in the prestigious Cooperstown Experience this coming summer! Jonas is raising $500 to help cover costs. If you’re willing to help, contributions can be sent via Venmo (@KristinaTheStylist - his mom’s account). Every dime is appreciated and goes to Jonas’ trip.
