Norcross Email Extravaganza Vol. 326
A weekly email for the young & forever young in Historic Norcross
DID YOU KNOW...?
The Norcross Women’s Club donated Gwinnett County’s first library, a 1921 Carnegie-style building, to the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation in August 2024. This week, the Georgia Trust sold it to the City of Norcross for $450,000. Now under local historic protections, the city will invest $230,000 in its rehabilitation in 2025. It will be so fun to see the building brought back to life!
ps. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays… and rumor has it Stranger Things filmed in Historic Norcross last week. xo
MEET YOUR NEIGHBOR
Submit yourself / your family to be featured! Email a brief introduction and photo of you / your family to youngnorcross@gmail.com. Then show your “Meet Your Neighbor” feature to the team at Social Fox Brewing for a free round (this is the only feature that earns a free round)!
DOG OF THE WEEK
Meet Pinco! This 9-month-old boy has the most perfect ears and squishy face. He is likely a pittie/frenchie mix and is to die for! Who can pass up this cuteness! Pinco has the softest fur and loves to get pets. He is also gentle on a leash and a perfect medium size at 32lbs. He will likely be under 45lbs full grown and would fit nicely into an apartment or home. Please consider Pinco for your next pup!
