DID YOU KNOW...?
Carl Gresham was a Norcross resident who left a lasting mark on the community. Born in 1893, Carl served on the front lines in France during World War I, providing medical care in a mobile field hospital. The war took a toll on his health, but when he returned home, he built a life in Norcross, living on Wingo Street and working at Parsons Store (old Paizanos/soon to be Savage Pizza building). He married Maggie Cook, raised a family, and even invented a salve for skin conditions that many locals swore by. He lived here for 50 years! His story is a fascinating piece of Norcross history.
