Are you the fittest on earth? Orrrr do you at least enjoy a good Saturday morning workout with friends while raising money for foster and adoptive families (for Promise686 with David and Callie Murray)? Sign up to participate in The NorCrossFit Games!! This three-event workout takes place from 8-11a at Lillian Webb Park in historic Norcross. Athletes sign up as a team of four to complete three CrossFit-style workouts that will be announced in real-time. This event is open to all levels of athletes comfortable with barbells, dumbbells, sandbags, and running/stairs. Click here!

Volunteer with SNC
SNC is also looking for volunteers to join their Pedal Norcross, Community Outreach, and Bee City subcommittees. Email sustainable@norcrossga.net if you’re interested and want to help create programs to educate the community on sustainability initiatives such as recycling, gardening, bicycling, pollinators, etc!
Recycle & Clean Up Day
The Recycling & Clean Up Day Collection Event is on Saturday, April 20, 8a-12p. Drop off your paper for shredding, electronics, scrap metal, and/or recycling as well as bulky junk for disposal or donation. This Spring, we are also collecting tires (without the rim) and paint this Spring (Maximum of 10 gallons of paint and 10 tires per vehicle) Please enter via S Cemetery St and click here for accepted items list!
Gwinnett County Earth Day Recycling Event
Can't make Recycle & Clean Up Day? Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful is hosting an Earth Day event at Coolray Field, Home of Gwinnett Stripers in Lawrenceville on Saturday, April 27, 9a-12p for Gwinnett County residents to drop off items such as electronics, latex and oil-based paint, clothing & shoes, as well as tires. Secure paper shredding will also be available. Learn more.
Sunday Supper at The Local Peach
The Local Peach is hosting their first Sunday Supper on Sunday, May 5! Chef’s Nona & Bri will be serving an authentic Mexican-inspired dinner at 6p. Tickets are $45/person, including prix fixe menu plus tea and/or lemonade. Seating is limited. Reservations available!
