Norcross Email Extravaganza Vol. 243
A weekly email for the young & forever young in Historic Norcross
DID YOU KNOW...?
Lillian Webb Park was once a baseball park! Baseball games at Lillian Webb drew fans from miles away, becoming the primary source of entertainment in the area during the early twentieth century. Local players caught the attention of scouts, and some were able to sign contracts to play semi-pro baseball. In the 1920s, more players per capita were drafted to the major leagues from Norcross than from any other small town in America.

MEET YOUR NEIGHBORS
Meet Brad and Caity Snyder! They moved to Norcross from Portland, Oregon last August, never having been to Georgia before. The Snyders moved for Brad's job at Microsoft, where he works in Procurement. Caity is a Communications Specialist for Cisco. They love being able to walk to downtown Norcross with their dog Daisy, where she gets all the pets (which she loves). They also have two cats, Molly and Gracie! They really look forward to meeting new people in the area and being involved in the community!
