Norcross Email Extravaganza Vol. 215
Did you know...?
We've been working on an exciting project: the Young Norcross Card! The (free) membership card, which will have its first limited release at Social Fox on November 18, can be used around town at participating businesses for perks and discounts, depending on what each business is offering that week or month. And yes, you read that right - limited release! We will be hosting release parties with a limited number of cards available each time. Once they're gone, they won't be available again until the next release party (so be sure to arrive early to grab yours). More details soon!
Norcross Garden Club's Fall Plant Sale
The Norcross Garden Club's Fall Plant Sale continues today, November 4, from 10a-7p! Head over to Heritage Park next to the Norcross Garden Club Cottage (33 College Street) and browse an assortment of plants for your home and garden.

The Enchanted Forest
The Enchanted Forest is a free event hosted annually by the Norcross Garden Club in the Johnson Dean Forest Preserve. It returns this year on November 6 from 2-4p. Bring your Halloween pumpkins to be transformed into a fairy house or composted on the trail! (You're welcome to drop off your pumpkins even if you can't make the event!)

Yard Sale (and Bake Sale) for Adoption!
The Rauschenbergs (introduced in "Meet Your Neighbors" this week) are adding to their family! They are in the early stages of adopting a special needs baby with Down syndrome. One big way to support them is through their adoption yard sale. All funds from the yard sale will help them bring this baby into their family! The event takes place at 230 Lake Drive, Norcross 30071 on November 11 and 12 from 8a-3p. *If you would like to donate items to the yard sale, text Hannah at 706-980-5688!*

Men’s Civic Breakfast
Christ Episcopal Church is hosting a Men's Civic Breakfast on the second Saturday of each month. The first breakfast takes place on November 12 in Webster Hall at Norcross Episcopal Church from 8-9:30a. A traditional Southern breakfast will be served, including eggs, grits, bacon, and biscuits! The guest speaker for this meeting is Jose Perez, the Seventh Congressional District representative on the State of Georgia Board of Regents. All men in the wider community are invited to join the program! Contact Elliott Brack with any questions - ebrack2@gmail.com.

Meet Your Neighbors
Meet the Rauschenbergs! Sam, Hannah, Hudson (10), and Ruth (6) moved to Historic Norcross in May 2019 after living in Grant Park for seven years. Sam works at a nonprofit, Achieve Atlanta, and writes a Substack newsletter, Southbound, on overlooked stories from the South. Hannah is a stay-at-home mom who loves cooking, nature, and a good podcast. Hudson and Ruth attend Providence Christian Academy. The family is in the early stages of adopting a baby with Down syndrome (see the yard sale mentioned above) and can't wait to add to their family! On any given day, you may find them walking their golden doodle, Champ, around town or perusing Southern Thrift Market for the latest treasures.
