Meal Train for the Sterrett Family
Sean and Lauryn Sterrett welcomed their daughter, Charlotte (Charlie) Elizabeth Sterrett, 8 weeks early on September 2, 2022. Both she and mom are doing well, and big brother Andrew says that she's "the most precious thing to him." Please sign up for a time to drop off a meal or donate a GrubHub gift card to help Lauryn, Sean, and Andrew through the next two months while Baby Charlie is in the NICU.
The British Car Fayre
The 21st annual British Car Fayre returns tomorrow, Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 10a to 3p. If you haven't attended before, this video from last year's event is a good idea of what to expect. All profits generated from the show are donated to the Amanda Riley Foundation. Volunteers are still needed for the event! Contact Chuck Paul to sign up at chuck_paul@bellsouth.net.
Union Bros Meat Market
Two local couples (and dear friends!) are opening Union Bros Meat Market, located near the Forum (next to Manhattan Bagel). Union Bros offer high-quality meat, wine, cheese, and dry goods and will officially be open to the public starting this Saturday, September 10!

Candy Wrapper Recycling Bins
Rubicon is offering FREE candy wrapper recycling bins for local businesses, schools, and nonprofits. As you may know, candy wrappers are NOT recyclable, and close to 600 million pounds of candy are purchased each year for Halloween. Click here to apply for a box and then be sure to email sustainabilityintern@norcrossga.net to be added to a Norcross Candy Wrapper Recycling Participants list, which will show community members where to drop off their wrappers. Boxes come with a return shipping label, and if you ordered a box last year, make sure to send it back soon!

Meet Your Neighbors
Meet the Lyons Family! Josh and Ashley moved into Astoria in 2017 with their dogs, Jubee and Indy. Since then, they've welcomed JJ (3), Robby (2), and Ashley’s mom, Karen, into their home. They love being able to walk to so many fun events, take the boys to Norcross’ parks, and grab great meals! You can usually spot them at Zapata, Mojito’s, or Cultivation on any given weekend.
